Beautiful City in the Hills of Aravali

AFTER Jaipur another historical and religious city of Rajasthan is Ajmer. At a distance of 132 km from Jaipur, Ajmer is famous for the tomb of Sufi Saint Khwaja Muiniddin Chishti. This is the religious place for the Muslims. But people from other religions alos visit here. The city is also famous for its natural beauty.

Anasagar Lake is the one of the beautiful place of the city. You can enjoy boating here. This was made by art lover Shahjehan in 1637. There is also a restaurant in the middle of the lake.

Taragarh Fort is situated on a small hill. You can view whole city from here.

Museum is built in the Akbar's Shahi Niwas. You can see the collection of arms here.

Pushkar at a distance of 11 km from Ajmer is a place of tourist attraction. There are Many temples built in the area of 3 km surrounded by the hills around Pushkar lake.

You can visit here in winter season.
