Confluence of Three Rivers

ALLAHABAD is among one of the holiest cities of India, situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Because of the confluence of three rivers (Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati), it is also called the Sangam. People take bath at this holy place. Historical Kumbh fair is also celebrated here.

Qila was basically built by Ashok and was completed  later by Aurangzeb.

Minto Park is situated at the bank of the river Saraswati. Nowadays it is called Madan Mohan Malviya Park.

Anand Bhawan is the paternal house of India's first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. Now it is a historical monument of the country. There is also a planetarium here.

Museum is situated near famous Azad Park. Azad Park is famous as Company Garden. The museum contains many samples of old statues and paintings.

Khusrobagh is one of the beautiful and famous place of Allahabad, which was built by Khusro in an area of 17 bigahs.
