THE city is famous for its religious activities allover India. On reaching Haridwar, which is situated in the lap of Shivalik Hills and on the banks of the river Ganga, you will see people wearing yellow clothes on both sides of the road. Har Ki Pauri HaridwarHar Ki Pauri :- After sunset people lit earthen lamps and flow them in the river. In the night the place looks like sky and earthen lamps as the stars which has come to earth.

Ropeway Trolley :- Mansa Devi Temple is situated on one of the hills in Haridwar. You can go there through ropeway. You can see a very beautiful scene of the Haridwar from ropeway.

Gurukul :- These are the educational institutes where students learn Sanskrit from there teachers. Students have to do all there work and also serve there teachers.

You can go there any time throughout the year. As the climate of the city is very pleasant.
