City of Pearls

Hyderabad is situated at the bank of the river Musi. It is the capital city of Andhra Pradesh state. This is famous for its museums, Mughal monuments and pearl jewellery.

It was built by King Mohammad Kuli Qutubshah in 1590. It is India's fifth biggest city. The environment here is very calm.

Charminar HyderabadCharminar is the pride of the city. This is one of the famous building of the city. It was built by King Mohammad Kuli Qutubshah in 1591. Charminar is the symbol of Hindu Muslim unity.

Jama Masjid is situated in the north east of Charminar and is a famous example of architecture. This is one of the oldest Masjid of the Hyderabad city. There is another Masjid called Jama Masjid situated at the south of Charminar. Around 10, 000 people at a time can pray here.

Salarjang Museum is situated at hte bank of the river Musi. It was built was prime minister of Nizam Mir Yusuf Ali Salarjang. The main attraction of this museum is wall clock. Because an old man comes out of the clock to ring alram.

Hussain Sagar Lake is situated between Hyderabad and Sikanderabad. There is a statue of Budha in the centre of the lake. Tourists can enjoy boating here.

Golkunda Durg, Nehru Zoo and Birla Planetarium are some of the other famous places of the Hyderabad.

You can visit here at nay time except summer. Because during summer it is very hot here.
