Attraction of Museums and Forts

THIS beautiful city of Rajasthan is famous as "Surya Nagari". You can see the beauty of temples, forts and architecture there. Before entering the city you can view the heaps of sand which provide a beautiful look. The fort situated at some height gives an impression of its old history. The long wall of the fort seems like providing security to city.

Mehrangarh Fort is one of the symbol of architecture. To enter the fort you have to bye tickets and on entering the fort you can see the Rajasthani culture. The work of art in the fort is very impressive. You can view the beauty of city  from the fort.

Jaswant Thada is situated near the fort. It is the tomb of King Jaswant Singh (II) made of white marble. The rays of Sun light provide an impressive view.

Rajasthani Research Institute is situtated at a distance of 8 kilometers from the city. The institute is famous for Rajasthani language, art and culture.

Balsamand Lake and Palace is situated at a distance of 7 Kilometers is a very beautiful place. It was built in 1959. The environment at the artificial lake is very calm. You can enjoy picnic here.

You can view Ummed Park and museum inside the park. Mandor Garden situated near by is also one of the place of attraction.

The best season to visit here is from October to March.
